Our Commitment to Environmental Sustainability
In these modern times every one of us has a responsibility to be conscious about the impact we have as individuals on our environment. Therefore we believe at Whole Kaboodle that business operations should go hand in hand with a deep commitment to environmental sustainability. As a forward-thinking company, we recognize that the way we manage our operations and services could have a significant impact on the environment.
Environmental sustainability is not just a trend—it’s a necessity. The services we provide today will shape the world of tomorrow. By reducing waste, conserving energy, and minimizing our carbon footprint, we play a crucial role in protecting natural resources and ensuring a healthier planet for future generations. That’s why we are dedicated to incorporating sustainable practices into every aspect of our operations.
The Whole Kaboodle Commitment
Our commitment to sustainable business activities are cemented both within our day to day activities and future operations. Making a positive impact to our community is a key driver for Whole Kaboodle, and the commitment towards our sustainable activities plays a major part of our social responsibility. Our commitment to sustainability is also underpinned by our company values of achieving Excellence in what we do, having Accountability for our actions and having Meaning to what we do and what we stand for.
Below are just some of the projects we are working on now and will be working on in the near future to achieve are ultimate target of becoming a carbon neutral organisation by 2030.
Zero Landfill Waste Initiative
It's a monumental ask of any organisation to completely eradicate landfill waste from their operational activities, however a zero landfill waste initiative is what we're working towards here at Whole Kaboodle. We are currently in the process of working towards ensuring that all of the materials and waste we produce from our operational activities is either reused, upcycled or donated for use by other organisations. We are committed to ensuring that all of our packaging is recyclable, with zero going to landfill.
Going Paperless
To coincide with our zero waste target we are aim at driving towards a paperless organisation. To reinforce this commitment we will pledge to plant one tree for every ream of paper consumed! We consider this a fair pledge considering one tree produces on average 16 reams of A4 paper.
Community Projects
Making a positive impact on our community really is a, if not, 'the' key drive behind our organisation. With this in mind we at Whole Kaboodle want to support or undertake as many community projects as we possibly can. This of course includes projects that have a positive impact on sustainability and the environment. We will be looking out within our local community to see where we can be of service. Alternatively, if you are a non-profit organisation then please do not hesitate to drop us a line via our Contact Us page to see if we can support in any way.
In support of the National Trust, Whole Kaboodle also commit to planting 10 trees per year for every staff member.
The Whole Kaboodle Future
It's not just about what we are doing now, it's about how we progress, evolve and drive towards continuing our positive contribution for a brighter and more sustainable future. That's why Whole Kaboodle are always looking ahead...
Electric Vehicle Fleet
Although ambitious at this moment in time, one of our future targets at Whole Kaboodle is to operate a fully electric fleet of vehicles, completely eradicating the need for petrol and vehicle diesels.
ISO 14001 Accreditation
ISO14001 is an internationally recognised standard for environmental management systems (EMS.) It ensures that organisations have a competent framework in place that implements and continually develops sustainable performance. Whole Kaboodle are already in the process of working towards gaining this accreditation.
Carbon Neutral by 2030
We have a very ambitious goal here at Whole Kaboodle to have a carbon neutral footprint by 2030. It will be a challenging target for us, but something we feel extremely passionate about working towards and are determined in succeeding.
Sustainability is not a destination but a journey. At Whole Kaboodle we are committed to continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration. We strive to partner with customers, suppliers, and the community to drive sustainable practices and achieve shared environmental goals and success stories.
Together, we can create a future where sustainability is at the fore front of our actions—a future where our buildings, spaces, and services contribute positively to the environment and our society.
